This restaurant is incredibly charming and the food is absolutely delicious. I had a fantastic breakfast and the service was on point. If you're looking for a great breakfast/brunch restaurant, look no further than Blackberry Bistro!

I had driven by many times and every time I would think to myself that it looked like a great place for breakfast. So, this morning I tried it out. I had the salmon eggs benedict with a side of bacon. Yum Yum Yum. The clientele was uniquely Glenview and so was the atmosphere. It checks all the boxes but especially cleanliness. It is super clean. Loved it!

This place is insane. Not just your classic breakfast fare, but like, actually a ton of interesting options that I had never seen before and actually made me excited to eat here!! I can't recall the last time that has happened. I ordered the potato pancakes with homemade apple sauce, and while I was eating I kept remembering what it was like to be a child again, I kept feeling safe, and protected. I want to eat here next time I am afraid, the next time I am going to leave on a long uncertain journey... If this meal was my last meal ever, I would be so happy. Can you believe food can do that??? So, hands down, best breakfast/brunch in oakland, no contest. Food that actually tastes like it was made by someone who loves food. So rare!! Probably the best prices for brunch in oakland, too. Inside ambience was quiet, kind, and the server was sweet. Very dramatic review, I'm sorry, but I really can't believe it took me this long to find this place. Will be back, no question.

This is my ALL TIME favorite place... Breakfast tasty... And the injera is DELICIOUS. Highly recommended!

From the amazing service provided by Helen and staff, to the freshness of the fruit and everything else that has been prepared, I have fell in love with this place. My favorite is the pancake, shrimp and grits, and oh I can't forget about the albacore tuna melt. The wait time is little to none on most occasions, I'm always greeted with hot water and lemon, which is my preference. The ambiance is nice and welcoming, I highly recommend dining here. Five stars

I eat a lot of pancakes. I love pancakes. I have eaten pancakes at 60 different breakfast joints in Oakland. I think this is the first place I felt deserved a review. So it must be special. They have a variety of pancakes. My favorite is the Orange Buttermilk ones. They really are some of the best cakes I have eaten. My wife and I have eaten breakfast there about once a month for the last 3 months. I think we will continue to frequent the Bistro especially as the weather is warmer and the outside tables have a great Southern exposure. The stall and food are great and I think no matter what you order you will be quite satisfied.

So delicious every time I come here. It's one of the last places where they actually serve water in a glass cup instead of plastic cups. I had to California florentine breakfast with added regular bacon. Oatmilk latte was on point as well.
